Credit card fraud charges dropped against N.D. man
A felony charge of financial transaction card fraud against a Larimore, N.D., man was dismissed earlier this month.
Derek Ray Fuglem, 25, whose address is listed as P.O. Box 152, Larimore, was accused of attempting to use a stolen credit card to make just under $650 in purchases at four Detroit Lakes businesses on Sept. 15, 2010. The stolen credit card had been reported in Traill County, N.D., and a sheriff's deputy there contacted a Detroit Lakes police officer about the investigation.
Fuglem is currently serving a five-year prison sentence on an unrelated charge, and the victim in the case said she did not wish to further pursue the charge against him, according to court records.
