The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and the Detroit Lakes Police Department.

Sunday, July 6

n At 12:43 a.m. a man and woman were lost in the Straight River area from 11 p.m. until about 2 a.m.

n At 8:55 a.m. a Ramsey, Minn., man reported a theft from a fishing boat parked near a garage on the 15000 block of Little Cormorant Lake Road. Taken were four fishing rods, reels, rain gear and Double Buzzbait, a type of spinner.

n At 10:59 a.m. a Lake Park man reported the theft of a number of items from a residence on the 15000 block of Little Cormorant Lake Road.

n At 1:03 p.m. a Rochert resident on the 20000 block of County Road 29 reported the theft of a mailbox. Several other mailboxes in the area were tipped upside down.

n At 5:04 p.m. an Osage man reported a vehicle abandoned in a ditch. It turned out to have been stolen in Menahga.

n At 11:30 p.m. a grass fire was reported on County Road 21. White Earth firefighters were on the scene for about 22 minutes.

Monday, July 7

n At 1:13 p.m. a Waubun woman reported a burglary on the 39000 block of Village Drive. Two windows were broken and a flat-screen TV set was taken. Walls were damaged during the burglary.

n At 6:26 p.m. a man at the Becker County Jail reported the theft of items there.

n At 8:49 p.m. a Detroit Lakes alderman reported he had been checking out property involved in a zoning issue, and the owner was not happy and was following him in a car. The 26-year-old man told officers he was following because he wanted to know why someone was on his property.

Tuesday, July 8

n At 6:35 a.m. a woman on the 1300 block of Loring Avenue reported an attempted break-in.

n At 11:53 a.m. a blue and silver Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen from a garage on the 500 block of Grant Street, taken sometime over the past few days.

n At 5:56 p.m. a woman on the 1200 block of Long Avenue reported her locked vehicle had been entered overnight. Entry was through a passenger door, which was not damaged.

n At 6:24 p.m. a woman on the 1300 block of Corbett reported the theft of a 1-speed BMX-style Redline bicycle from her yard. Also taken was $42 cash from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway.

Wednesday, July 9

n At 12:45 a.m. a resident on the 15000 block of Lee Lane, Detroit Lakes, complained that kids were throwing eggs at cars.

n At 2:26 a.m. a 19-year-old man and a 18-year-old man were cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an officer found them smoking marijuana in Long Lake Park.

n At 11:48 a.m. a 76-year-old woman was cited for shoplifting at Central Market.

n At 5:50 p.m. staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids reported that a patient in the emergency room had been injured in a rollover near Hungry Man Campgrounds near Two Inlets.

n At 7:21 p.m. a Casselton, N.D., woman reported an assault at K&K Tubing.
