The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.
Wednesday, Aug. 6
-- At 7:36 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported the overnight theft of a maroon Oldsmobile Alero.
-- At 7:50 a.m. a mobile home was reported filled with smoke on the 56000 block of County Road 40. The Wolf Lake Fire Department was on the scene for about half an hour.
-- At 10:12 a.m. a Park Rapids man reported the theft and sale of tools and equipment in Savannah Township.
-- At 10:49 a.m. a sexual assault was reported by a woman at the Lake Sallie Campground, WE Fest.
-- At 11:11 a.m. a White Earth woman reported she had been assaulted by a known male the day before.
-- At 3:16 p.m. a Callaway man reported the theft of his nephew's money from a dresser drawer.
-- At 4:13 p.m. an assault was reported that had occurred the day before in Ogema.
-- At 6:06 p.m. a woman reported a house door had been kicked in on the 1700 block of Long Bridge Road. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
-- At 7:41 p.m. a rural Lake Park man reported the theft of a battery and trolling motor from a pontoon in the Cormorant area.
Thursday, Aug. 7
-- At 9:38 a.m. a Georgetown woman reported a cabin break-in on the 31000 block of Kivi Drive, Ogema.
-- At 1:01 p.m. WE Fest security reported an assault that had occurred the night before at Lake Sallie Campground.
-- At 2:26 p.m. a Fargo woman reported a cabin break-in on the 15000 block of Tosten Erickson Circle, Cormorant.
-- At 3:44 p.m. a Frazee man reported his tractor had been moved and driven and the gas tank was empty. Copper tubing from a cook stove had also been taken.
-- At 6:55 p.m. an assault was reported by an Olivia man at Eagle Campground at WE Fest.
-- At 4:32 p.m. a Park Rapids man reported a burglary on the 10000 block of 515th Ave, Menahga. Taken were lights from 10 off-road vehicles, hand tools, and a number of wire cattle panels and gates.
Friday, Aug. 8
-- At 7:51 a.m. a Rogers man reported a theft from a motor vehicle at Hilltop Campground, WE Fest.
-- At 8:06 a.m. a Fargo woman reported a theft from a motor vehicle at Hilltop Campground.
-- At 8:29 a.m. a Lake Crystal man reported a theft from a tent at Hilltop Campground.
-- At 9:20 a.m. a man reported the theft of items from a boat docked at the Long Bridge Marina. Taken were a maritime Minn Kota trolling motor, a deep cell marine battery and two fishing poles.
-- At 11:07 a.m. two vehicles and a tent were reported damaged by vandalism at Blue Ox Campground, WE Fest.
-- At 6:31 p.m. a man was reportedly assaulting a woman at Viking Campground.
-- At 6:41 p.m. an assault was reported at Hilltop Campground.
Saturday, Aug. 9
-- At 2:20 a.m. two men were cited for fighting at the Shorewood Pub.
-- At 2:21 a.m. a theft was reported at Viking Campground.
-- At 8:06 p.m. a vehicle reportedly crashed into some trees off Highway 59, about 1 mile north of WE Fest.
-- At 9:06 p.m. St. Mary's emergency room reported an assault that had occurred at Wal-Mart.
-- At 9:08 p.m. a fight was reported at the West Gate of WE Fest.
Sunday, Aug. 10
-- At 12:34 a.m. an assault was reported at WE Fest.
-- At 9 a.m. the theft of a Honda generator valued at $1,600 was reported from a campsite at WE Fest.
--At 11:45 Detroit Lakes police were dispatched to provide medical assistance to a man who had fallen off a ladder. He struck his head but did not appear to be seriously injured.
-- At 9:28 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported that his semi tractor-trailer was at Lakeview General Store, where it had been parked since Tuesday with the freezer unit running to keep ice cold. The truck was supposed to be on consignment at a Fargo trailer sales lot. The matter was referred to the Fargo police.
Monday, Aug. 11
-- At 11 a.m. a Lake Park man reported a burglary on the 2000 block of Highway 10. Taken were a variety of tools, an air compressor, a drill and jumper cables.
-- At 11:06 a.m. a man reported the theft of a wallet from a backpack on the 1200 block of Loring Avenue.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
-- At 9:20 p.m. a Fergus Falls man reported his daughter had been assaulted at WE Fest and had suffered a foot injury.
-- At 5:03 p.m. St Mary's Innovis Health reported treating the victim of a sexual assault.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
-- At 10:14 a.m. a Lake Park man reported the theft of six rods and reels, three double-sided tackle boxes and crank baits, as well as a trolling motor, from the 15000 block of Snowshoe Beach Road.
Thursday, Aug. 14
-- At 9:41 a.m. it was reported that a vehicle window had been broken in Pine Point.
-- At 9:23 p.m. a Ponsford man reported the theft of aluminum parts off a motor.
Friday, Aug. 15
-- At 2:03 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported the theft of a car from her neighbor's yard. White Earth police officers found the car abandoned in a ditch about a half-mile north of Shell Lake on County Road 39.
