The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and the Detroit Lakes Police Department.

Monday, Sept. 22

n At 10:13 a.m. a woman on the 13000 block of Ideal Beach Lane, Cormorant, reported a shed break-in. Taken were a chain saw, a pressure washer, a pump and other items.

n At 2:44 p.m. DL Marine reported the theft of two snowmobile Fox Load shocks, taken sometime the past two weeks.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

n At 7:08 p.m. a one-car rollover was reported at the junction of county roads 12 and 9, Lake Park. There were seven children in the vehicle, and some suffered cuts and bruises, but nobody was seriously hurt.

Thursday, Sept. 25

n At 3:24 p.m. a Frazee pawnshop reported someone had tried to pawn stolen items. Two police officers were there for about 20 minutes.

n At 5:26 p.m. a Frazee man reported the theft of an orange 24-foot extension ladder.

Friday, Sept. 26

n At 6:08 p.m. a motorcycle accident was reported on the 1100 block of Lake Avenue.

According to the police accident report: Ryan Gronvold, 32, of Detroit Lakes was doing a wheelie on a blue 2005 Suzuki when he kept the front wheel in the air for too long and lost control of the motorcycle, which fell over backwards and rolled to one side.

Gronvold, who was not wearing a helmet, hit his head on the pavement. He complained of pain and dizziness, but declined medical attention because of the cost. He was cited for careless driving.

Saturday, Sept. 27

n At 8:13 p.m. a man reported a vehicle hit and run at North Street and Highway 34. A 23-year-old man was later arrested for third-degree DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Sunday, Sept. 28

n At 1:04 p.m. a 16-year-old rural Detroit Lakes boy was injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 59 and Willow Street.

Kyler Jo Groft was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Innovis Health, where he was treated and released.

According to the police accident report:

Groft was driving a 1994 Honda Passport westbound on Willow and was attempting to cross the highway when he collided with a 2005 Chevy Avalanche driven by Joy Ruth Fetting, 41, of rural Detroit Lakes.

She was northbound on Highway 59 and was passing a vehicle on the right that had stopped to turn left. She suffered pain in the chest area following the accident.

At 2:07 p.m. a motorcycle accident with an injury was reported at Highway 113 and East Juggler Lake Road.

n At 3:29 p.m. workers burned off propane from a large tank at Park Manor apartments to fix a problem with the tank.

n At 11:05 p.m. St. Mary's reported a man stole a vase of flowers, valued at $20-$25, and left on foot. The 42-year-old man was arrested for theft and held for court. The flowers were returned to the hospital.

Monday, Sept. 29

n?At 5:14 p.m. a car fire was reported at Lake Park Cenex. Local police officers put it out.

n?At 11:25 p.m. St. Mary's emergency room reported an intoxicated man harassing staff and threatening to "punch out" a doctor for no apparent reason. He refused to leave when police arrived, and was arrested and taken to jail, where he was belligerent to staff and placed in a holding cell.
