The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.
Friday, July 17
At 9:29 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported being assaulted at her residence by her father and brother. A 53-year-old man was arrested.
Over the weekend, the sheriff's department received an anonymous tip that a man was bragging that he received $1,000 for drug-related beatings he inflicted. The allegations are under investigation.
Saturday, July 18
In an early-morning incident, a White Earth woman reported being beat up by a man.
At 7:40 a.m. a Ponsford woman reported a motorcycle accident on County Road 129. A man suffered a gash to the head when his motorcycle hit a dog on the roadway. An EMS crew from North Memorial Ambulance in Park Rapids responded to the scene. The dog was killed in the accident.
At 12:21 p.m. a woman reported that a man beat her up near the Burger Barn in Richwood.
Sunday, July 19
At 12:32 p.m. a woman reported that people were stomach-boarding down a steep hill on Minnesota Avenue and Frazee Street.
At 2:36 p.m. a Forest Township woman reported a grass fire. Carsonville firefighters were on the scene about 50 minutes, on the 50000 block of Little Scenic Trail.
At 2:40 p.m. a man reported his 1996 Ford Taurus had been vandalized while parked on the 200 block of Laura Avenue.
At 4:06 p.m. a report was received of people jumping off Long Bridge. An officer informed them of the city ordinance and gave them a warning.
At 8:31 p.m. a grass fire was reported in the Osage area. Carsonville firefighters were on the scene only about 10 minutes.
At 8:57 p.m. a motorist reported his vehicle was hit by a baseball from Washington Ballpark while he drove by on Washington Avenue.
Monday, July 20
At 8:22 a.m. a Frazee man escaped serious injury Monday morning when he passed out while driving himself to the hospital and rolled his pickup truck on Highway 10 East.
Robert John Mayfield, 49, was driving himself to the emergency room in Detroit Lakes after a piece of wire pierced a finger, according to the police accident report.
He passed out while westbound on Highway 10, crossed over the median, went across the eastbound lanes, entered the south ditch and went across Ox Cart Trail.
The pickup truck was launched airborne and landed and rolled in the woods west of Ox Cart Trail. The pickup truck was totaled, but fortunately Mayfield suffered no apparent injuries.
At 11:09 a.m. the theft of two freshly-painted red gasoline cans was reported from a Lake park residence
At 2:30 p.m. it was reported that entry had been gained to the BMX track at the fairgrounds and a padlock broken in an unsuccessful effort to enter the concession stand.
At 5:21 p.m. mailbox damage was reported on Alpine lane, Lake Park.
At 7 p.m. a vehicle fire was reported on the 39000 block of County Road 21. White Earth firefighters responded.
Tuesday, July 21
At 2:16 a.m. an Ogema man reported a skunk in the living room on the 200 block of Eagle Drive at the Dream Catcher homes. Four tribal police officers responded and were on the scene about 20 minutes.
At 9:21 a.m. a semi tractor-trailer rig rolled over on County Road 39 near Highway 87 after the trailer slipped over an incline while the driver was backing up on sandy terrain. No injuries were reported.
