The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and Detroit Lakes Police Department:
Tuesday, Aug. 11
At 2:17 a.m. an assault was reported at the Twin Haven mobile home park on Highway 34.
At 11:07 a.m. a Waubun woman reported the theft of food and prescription medication from the 39000 block of Village Drive.
At 3:11 p.m. a Waubun resident reported the theft from a truck of prescription medications, a Ninetendo DS, and games.
Thursday, Aug. 13
At 12:13 a.m. on County Road 31 a car came across the center line and forced an oncoming deputy's squad car to the side of the road, where it struck a mailbox.
At 1:25 p.m. a Waubun resident reported the theft of 160 DVD movies from a home on the 39000 block of Village Drive.
At 5 p.m. two Pelican Rapids teens, ages 13 and 16, reported the theft of skateboards while they were swimming at the Detroit Lakes city beach.
At 7:03 p.m. a Waubun woman reported an assault and threats.
Friday, Aug. 14
At 11:31 a.m. a Hugo woman reported her purse had been stolen at Eagle Campground during WE Fest.
At 12:57 p.m. a 13-year-old Detroit Lakes boy was hit by a car while crossing Highway 34 on his bicycle on Washington Avenue.
Riley John Paul Olson was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Innovis hospital for treatment.
He was struck by a 1993 Jeep Cherokee driven by Kyle Austin Larson, 28, of Park Rapids.
Both Larson, westbound on Highway 34, and a witness in a vehicle behind him said the boy seemed to come "out of nowhere" because their vision was blocked by a line of cars in the left turn lane.
At 11:47 p.m. a fight was reported at Zorbaz, and a 29-year-old man was arrested for trespassing. A notice was also sent to the state that he had violated his no-use-of-alcohol restriction.
Saturday, Aug. 15
At 1:38 p.m. a personal watercraft was found on the 12000 block of Tanglewood Road, Cormorant, and returned to its owner.
At 2:04 p.m. an Elbow Lake resident reported the theft of a Vietnamese Army rifle from a home in Eagle View Township.
At 7:27 p.m. St. Mary's Innovis emergency room asked for officer assistance with a belligerent patient. The man was discharged without incident.
At 7:52 p.m. a Ponsford man reported an abandoned house was on fire next to the Episcopal Church in Ponsford. Firefighters from Carsonville and Wolf Lake were on the scene about 40 minutes.
At 9:52 p.m. a Frazee woman reported a 500-gallon propane tank had tipped over and was leaking propane. Fortunately, the tank was nearly empty at the time.
At 10:19 p.m. a woman reported two young men using a belly board to coast down a steep hill at Minnesota Avenue and Holmes Street. The two were warned that their boards would be confiscated if they were caught again.
At 10:43 p.m. a Fargo woman reported her purse had been stolen at the Hotel Shoreham.
