Friday, Aug. 28

• At 10:03 a.m. vandalism was reported at Eagle Lake Park, rural Frazee.

• At 10:28 a.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported a neighbor has 20 cats on their property on the 29000 block of McHugh Road.

• At 12:20 p.m. a cabin break-in was reported in Lakeview Township. Taken were two plasma screen TV sets and liquor.

• At 1:54 p.m. a Rochert woman reported a lost or stolen wallet at a bathroom in McDonald's.

• At 4:17 p.m. a rural Ogema man reported the theft of three metal deer stands, two single and one double-wide, in West Sugar Bush Township. The deer stands were taken over the past week, possibly by ATV riders.

• At 5:51 p.m. vandalism was reported at the Harvest Free Will Baptist Church in White Earth.

• At 7:53 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported her sister was beaten up by a boyfriend and was in the emergency room.

• At 8 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported a strong gas odor at a home on the 400 block of West Lake Drive. A police officer was there for about an hour. Firefighters were there less than 10 minutes.

• At 9:26 p.m. a fight was reported behind the Northside bar. A 21-year-old man was arrested on a Clay County warrant.

• At 10:25 p.m. a pontoon crashed into a moored sailboat near the Edgewater Beach Club near City Park in Detroit Lakes.

• At 11:56 p.m. a Pine Point resident reported shots being fired at the water tower and ricocheting around. About a dozen tribal police officers and deputies responded to the scene, where a man was arrested.

Saturday, Aug. 29

• At 2:56 a.m. a fire alarm went off at the Washington Square Mall. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.

• At 10:38 a.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of two real estate yard signs on the 1100 block of Minnesota Avenue.

• At 10:48 a.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported the theft of a real estate yard sign from the 1100 block of Summit Avenue.

• At 7:20 p.m. a round bailer was reported on fire on a roadway in Spruce Grove Township. Wolf Lake firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.

• At 10:24 p.m. a large fight was reported during a wedding party at the Holiday Inn. A 23-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and another 23-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Aug. 30

• A woman was reportedly assaulted at the Ogema liquor store.

• At 3:51 p.m. an Audubon woman reported a car window had been smashed.

Monday, Aug. 31

• At 9:44 a.m. the theft of an air plasma metal cutter was reported during a rummage sale on the 1000 block of West Willow Street.

• At 9:53 a.m. a woman reported her purse had been stolen at the Northside bar.

• At 2:14 p.m. a rural Frazee man reported a straw pile on fire in Burlington Township. Frazee firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.

• At 7:58 p.m. a man reported young people were riding bikes in the DL skate park, which is prohibited. A police officer advised about eight kids there that the police had received too many complaints about bikes in the skate park, and told them to spread the word that police were going to start taking action.
