The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.
Thursday, Dec. 3
At 10:05 a.m., a caller reported that a man was smoking marijuana in the restroom at the Stop-n-Go gas station in Detroit Lakes.
Friday, Dec. 4
At 8:51 a.m., Detroit Lakes police responded to a report of an unruly male customer at the VFW in Detroit Lakes.
At 1:07 p.m., a 20-year-old man was cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart. He was arrested on an existing warrant.
At 1:08 p.m., a caller reported that an office at the White Earth Transfer station was broken into and a window was broken.
At 1:51 p.m., a 70-year-old male driver reportedly hit a mailbox and a sign on Highway 34 east of Detroit Lakes. The police report said that man was diabetic and had low blood sugar.
At 2:03 p.m., an 18-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman were cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
At 2:08 p.m., a caller reported that a sign was stolen from City Beach near the El Metate restaurant on West Lake Drive in Detroit Lakes.
At 6:48 p.m., a Carsonville Township man reported that his neighbor's cabin on the 48000 block of County Road 26 was broken into. He said the door jam was damaged.
At 10:46 p.m., a Pine Point Township woman reported that her dog was stolen from her residence on the 47000 block of Waboose Road. The dog reportedly was returned.
Saturday, Dec. 5
At 1:59 a.m., a Detroit Lakes woman reported that her sister was causing problems at a residence on the 500 block of Andrews Avenue.
At 9:41 a.m., a Detroit Lakes woman reported that someone used her checking account ATM card to pay a DirecTV bill without her knowledge.
At 2:11 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on Grant Street north of the VFW in Detroit Lakes. No injuries were reported.
At 2:54 p.m., a chimney fire was reported on the 1300 block of Lake Avenue in Detroit Lakes. No smoke damage was reported and fire crews were on the scene for 30-45 minutes.
At 11:05 p.m., a caller reported that a 49-year-old was causing problems in the bar area of the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes.
Sunday, Dec. 6
At 9:27 a.m., a caller reported that three white horses were on Eighth Street in Detroit Lakes by the Riverview Mobile Home Park.
At 10:36 a.m., a man reported that another man was pounding on his vehicle. The caller said that he was trying to back a trailer out of a driveway when the incident occurred.
At 11:19 a.m., a chimney fire was reported at a home on the 13000 block of Rossman-Erickson Road in Cormorant Township.
At 12:12 p.m., a South Round Lake Township woman reported that her residence on the 31000 block of South Ice Cracking Road was broken into. A DVD player was reportedly stolen.
At 4:36 p.m., a 30-year-old Detroit Lakes woman reported that the right front fender of her vehicle was damaged while she was inside L&M Fleet Supply in Detroit Lakes.
Monday, Dec. 7
At 1:44 a.m., a 47-year-old White Earth Township woman reported that a tenant took her prescription medication from a residence on the 32000 block of Mary Yellowhead Road.
At 8:59 a.m., a caller reported that a Menahga School District bus hit a deer on County Road 36. No injuries were reported and the bus was able to make it back to the garage. A state inspection was not required.
At 2:25 p.m., a Detroit Lakes man reported that a home on the 100 block of East Willow Drive was vandalized. The bottom of the garage door was reportedly kicked in and a crab apple was stuck in a fuel line.
At 4:14 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
At 4:25 p.m., a 35-year-old Spruce Grove Township man reported that someone took several items of gold jewelry from their home on the 48000 block of 120th Street. One of the items included a wedding band.
At 9:03 p.m., a 29-year-old White Earth Township man reported that someone took his game console from a residence on the 25000 block of Bear Clan Drive.
Tuesday, Dec. 8
At 12:48 p.m., a caller reported that someone was driving a four-wheeler without a muffler and waking up neighbors in White Earth Township.
