The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:

Friday, Feb. 13

• At 9:08 a.m. a male was reported assaulted in the Old Projects area in Ponsford. No medical attention was required.

• At 9:09 p.m. a burglary was reported at a house under construction near Osage. Taken were a Husqvarner chain saw, a 5 hp Craftsman air compressor and Vega crimping tools.

An employee at Menard's later called and reported that the items had been returned there. There are suspects in the case.

Saturday, Feb. 14

• At 12:40 a.m. officers responded to a call about a fight behind the Northside bar.

Three men there said they had been "jumped" by a half-dozen other men, who fled eastward. Officers were unable to locate them.

• At 1:34 a.m. Detroit Lakes police received a domestic assault call from the 900 block of Oak Grove Avenue.

Aaron Scott Olson, 21 of Detroit Lakes was arrested after a struggle and charged with two counts of fifth-degree domestic assault, one count of fourth-degree assault on a peace officer, and one count of third-degree assault on an unborn child.

He is also charged with child endangerment and obstructing the legal process.

Two women were allegedly assaulted in the incident, a 19-year-old pregnant Detroit Lakes woman and a 20-year-old Detroit Lakes woman who is in a relationship with Olson. The pregnant woman and her fetus were both checked over by a doctor and were not seriously injured, according to Detroit Lakes Police Chief Kel Keena.

Olson had allegedly been drinking and is also accused of damaging a number of items in the house, Keena said.

Olson injured a hip while struggling with a police officer -- they both went down and the officer landed on top of him -- and he was taken to the emergency room at St. Mary's Innovis, then transferred to Regions hospital in St. Paul.

• At 9:26 a.m. an Audubon man reported a home burglary on the 17000 block of 190th Avenue.

Taken were $2,000 cash, an Xbox 360 and a checkbook.

• At 2:13 p.m. an Ogema man reported the theft of an ice racing vehicle from a residence on the 22000 block of County Road 153. There is a suspect in the case.

• At 3:24 p.m. a male suffered a broken leg in a snowmobile accident on 230th Street. No other information was available about the crash, which was reported by the emergency room at St. Mary's Innovis.

Sunday, Feb. 15

• At 6:42 a.m. an accident with injuries was reported on Highway 10 East.

The accident occurred when Matthew Karl Sletto, 31, of Detroit Lakes was southbound in a 2001 Ford and rear-ended a 1992 Ford driven by Jon Malcolm Tibbetts, 68, of Detroit Lakes.

The first driver said he was driving about 65 mph and the second driver appeared in front of him unexpectedly.

The second driver said he was driving along about 50-55 mph and was struck from behind.

Both were transported to St. Mary's Innovis hospital by ambulance.

A third driver, Tracy Lynn Tritchler, 42, of Lake Park sustained a flat tire after running over debris following the accident.

• At 9:54 a.m. a break-in was reported at Mount Calvary Church in Ponsford.

• At 3:32 p.m. it was reported that the Detroit Lakes Boys and Girls Club was entered while left unlocked for another function and someone had sprayed "silly string" around the interior.

Monday, Feb, 16

• At 12:57 a.m. a one-vehicle rollover was reported at the junction of County Road 119 and 145th Street, near Midway in southeastern Becker County.

Robbin Chase, 42, of Menahga rolled the 2000 Dodge Durango she was driving and suffered unknown injuries. North Memorial Ambulance service was called to the scene, but hospitals in Park Rapids and Wadena reported they had not treated her and no condition report was available.

• At 2:41 p.m. several attempted shed break-ins were reported on the 13000 block of Halverson Beach Road.

Tuesday, Feb. 17

• At midnight, a Detroit Lakes man reported smoke in his residence on Reynolds Avenue. Firefighters were dispatched and were on the scene about 20 minutes dealing with a chimney problem.
