The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:

Friday, Aug. 26

• At 11:22 a.m. a resident on the 200 block of East Willow Street reported a red Next bicycle had been stolen three months ago.

• At 1:14 p.m. a rural Detroit Lakes resident reported an attempted "grandparents scam." It was unsuccessful.

• At 1:34 p.m. a rural Detroit Lakes resident reported receiving a scam "lottery winner" letter and bogus $4,450 check. The resident did not respond to the letter and turned it over to police.

• At 6:36 p.m. police received a noise complaint about loud bass music at the Long Bridge bar. The manager was notified.

• At 8:53 p.m. police received a noise complaint about loud bass music at Zorbaz.

• At 9:03 p.m. three small fires were reported in the west ditch on County Road 21. A tribal police officer put them out.

• At 9:14 p.m. police received a loud music complaint about Zorbaz. The manager took a decibel meter reading and the music was turned down.

• At 9:32 p.m. a 1982 Yamaha 550 motorcycle was reported stolen from a residential garage in Osage.

Saturday, Aug. 27

• At 12:25 a.m. a fire was reported at the compost site south of Lake Melissa. Detroit Lakes firefighters were on the scene about 90 minutes.

• At 8:49 a.m. a 1998 Toyota Camry was reported stolen from the 200 block of Sunnyside Avenue, Ogema. It was found burned on a trail off Cherry Lake Road east of White Earth.

At 10:58 a.m. a 49-year-old woman and two young boys showed up at the post office with two wallets the boys had found, containing cash and cards. The wallets belonged to two 25-year-old men.

• At 11:13 a.m. police were notified that a disruptive passenger was being kicked off a Jefferson bus at the Depot. The 35-year-old Washington State woman was headed to Chicago and said her meds had been stolen. She was upset with two different bus drivers. She was not allowed back on the bus and police took her to The Refuge in Detroit Lakes.

• At 5:42 p.m. a theft was reported at Town Lake Trailer Court in Frazee.

• At 7 p.m. hay was reported on fire on the 14000 block of 320th Street in Atlanta Township. The Ulen Fire Department was on the scene for about 90 minutes.

• At 11:25 p.m. a burglary was reported on Bear Clan Drive.

Sunday, Aug. 28

• At 8:45 a.m. a 1993 25 horsepower Marine boat motor was reported stolen overnight from the 12000 block of Abbey Lake Drive.

• At 10:50 a.m. a burglary was reported at the Harvest Freewill Baptist Church in White Earth.

• At 11:40 a.m. a man on the 1000 block of Summit Avenue reported the theft a few days earlier of a Hyper Bike Mike Spinner Pro model from the garage.

• At 4:03 p.m. the theft of a front license plate was reported at Shady Hollow Flea market by a Fergus Falls woman.

• At 4:49 p.m. the theft of a motor vehicle was reported on the 31000 block of 240th Avenue, Callaway. The vehicle was not in running condition, according to the owner.

• At 5:27 p.m. a White Earth man reported the theft of money from his residence. There is a suspect in the case.

• At 8:54 p.m. a small grass fire was reported on County Road 21. White Earth firefighters were on the scene for about 5 minutes.

Monday, Aug. 29

• At 12:55 a.m. a teenage boy reported that he had been involved in a confrontation with two men at Peoples Park, and one of them had pulled out a 9 mm silver-plated semi-automatic pistol. The man was described as in his mid-20s with a shaved head. Police pulled over a suspect vehicle and brought the occupants to the park to be identified, but the teenage boys had left the scene.

• At 7:59 a.m. the theft of two large BMX duffel bags was reported from a vehicle on the 200 block of Third Street in Audubon.

• At 10:26 a.m. a resident on the 200 block of 11th Avenue in Detroit Lakes reported a vehicle burglary and theft of 9-10 compact discs overnight. The car is believed to have been locked.

• At 12:03 p.m. a resident on the 200 block of 11th Avenue reported a theft from a locked vehicle. It was found unlocked in the morning, and a window was cracked. Taken were an iPad, clothing and blankets.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

• At 5:35 a.m. an Oregon man reported his locked vehicle had been broken into and rummaged through while parked overnight at Central Market. The lock was damaged on the driver's side and about $10 was stolen.
