The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and the Detroit Lakes Police Department:

Friday, Dec. 30

• At 5:53 a.m. a vehicle was reported in the ditch at County Road 15 and Highway 10.

• At 6:45 a.m. a vehicle was reported in the ditch at County Road 5 near County Road 6.

• At 7:33 a.m. a mini-van was reported in the ditch on County Road 11. Nobody was around any of the vehicles.

• At 9:53 a.m. a resident on the 21000 block of County Road 6 reported a mailbox and newspaper box missing, and said a neighbor's mailbox was also missing. They were found in the ditch about a block away, possibly knocked over and left there by a snowplow.

• At 1:51 p.m. a rural Frazee man checking traps in Silver Leaf Township near Mud Lake reported somebody shot at him three times, and shouted "Get off" or "get out!"

• At 3 p.m. a Lake Park resident reported broken windows in a house and shop. There is a suspect in the case.

• At 3:56 p.m. a White Earth man reported the theft of a .38 Colt revolver.

• At 5:33 p.m. a burglary was reported on the 39000 block of Jolly Fisherman Road. A door had been kicked in, and money and two guns were missing. A number of other items were taken or gone through. Last week, a small TV set had been stolen from the same area.

• At 6:16 p.m. a woman reported the theft of her son's wallet and a pair of jeans at the Detroit Lakes Community Center.

• At 7:59 p.m. an unoccupied Honda Civic was reported in a ditch off County Road 10 near the Morningside Motel.

• At 8 p.m. a Height of Land man reported the residential theft of a .22 pistol and a check that was later cashed for $1,500. There is a suspect in the case.

• At 8:23 p.m. a vehicle was reported in the ditch on County Road 39, up against a fence and a power pole. No one was around.

Saturday, Dec. 31

• At 2:30 a.m. an EMS driver reported seeing a man fall or pushed from a moving vehicle in downtown Detroit Lakes. The 21-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle told an officer that a 23-year-old man was intoxicated and fell out of the vehicle when he opened the door to vomit.

• At 4:38 a.m. the emergency department at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital reported treating a 23-year-old man who said he had been assaulted by several men after talking to one of their girlfriends at a house party in Detroit Lakes.

• At 1:37 p.m. a cabin break-in was reported on the 23000 block of Sugar Creek Road in West Sugarbush Township.

• At 4 p.m. a fire was reported on the 36000 lock of County Road 46 in Savannah Township. The Park Rapids Fire department was on the scene for several hours.

• At 9:15 p.m. a Frazee man reported being assaulted by two men on the 600 block of Second St. N.E.

Sunday, Jan. 1

• At 12:29 a.m. a woman reported being assaulted on the 33000 block of Mary Yellow Head Road in West Sugar Bush Township. She was taken to the emergency room at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital. Tribal police are handling the case.

• At 1:29 a.m. a mid-sized tree was hit and knocked over by a vehicle on Summit Avenue and Willow Street.

• At 1:46 a.m. the Holiday Inn reported a fight in the lobby between a 26-year-old Lake Park man and an unidentified man.

• At 2:50 a.m. officers responded to the emergency department at Essentia St. Mary's on the report of an unruly patient being brought in by out-of-town police officers. Deputies stood by until the patient was sedated.

• At 3:22 a.m. a man reported the theft of a Columbia-style jacket from the Sand Bar. A 32-year-old homeless man was positively identified as the suspect by the Williston, N.D., Police Department.

• At 9:15 a.m. a vehicle was found on its side on 130th Avenue near Lake Park. Nobody was around.

• At 4:25 p.m. an Audubon man reported that he had been accidentally run over by his girlfriend on the 500 block of Sixth Street. He had been trying to stop her from leaving, tripped and fell, and she ran over his arm. He was taken to Essentia St. Mary's Hospital for treatment.

• At 5:21 p.m. a vehicle struck a light pole and a garage on the 600 block of Cherry in Frazee.

Monday, Jan. 2

• At 2:30 p.m. a Lake Eunice Township woman reported that a vehicle had run into and damaged her residence on the 21000 block of County Road 6. There is a possible suspect.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

• At 5:21 a.m. a woodpile on fire on the 1300 block of Frazee Road kept firefighters busy for about 90 minutes.

• At 7:07 a.m. a chimney fire was reported on the 30000 block of Highway 34 in Erie Township. Firefighters from Detroit Lakes and Frazee responded.
