Saturday, Nov. 10

• At 2:02 a.m. a pickup truck went off the road and hit a tree on Highway 34. It was not clear if there were injuries.

Sunday, Nov. 11

• At 5:48 a.m. a one-vehicle rollover with possible injuries was reported in the vicinity of Highway 34 and County Road 9. The State Patrol handled the accident.

• At 4:11 p.m. a man reported he had been assaulted by a woman at the mobile home park on Cty Road 6.

• At 5:11 p.m. Detroit Lakes and Frazee firefighters responded to a house that was filled with smoke on the 18000 block of 324th Ave. in Erie Township. They were on the scene for about a half hour.

Monday, Nov. 12

• At 8:06 a.m. a non-injury accident was reported involving a car and a school bus. A green Pontiac took a right turn from Washington Avenue onto North Shore Drive and bounced off a Detroit Lakes school bus two times before heading towards the high school. The bus was stopped on North Shore Drive at Washington Avenue.

• At 8:18 a.m. the theft of numerous tools was reported from a Foltz Building work truck parked on the 200 block of Laura Avenue.

• At 9:19 a.m. the Itasca-Mantrap power cooperative reported the theft of electricity on the 40000 block of Lyman Lake road, in south Height of Land Township.

Power had been shut off to the residence about 30 months ago, but when a serviceman recently went to pick up the electric meter, he found the wires had been bypassed in order to provide power to the residence.

• At 11:49 a.m. the theft of a ground blind was reported on the 18000 block of 340th St. in Riceville Township.

• At 1:47 p.m. a one-vehicle rollover with possible injuries was reported on County Road 5 south of County Road 6. A 24-year-old local resident suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

• At 2:04 p.m. a theft was reported at the Alternative Learning Center.

• At 2:08 p.m. a 2007 Ford Explorer was reported stolen from the AmericInn overnight.

• At 8:05 a.m. a vehicle fire was reported near a garage on the 40000 block of Fargo Beach Road in south Height of Land Township. The Frazee Fire Department was on the scene about 40 minutes.

• At 12:16 p.m. a burglary was reported at a cabin owned by R&R Hunting on the 30000 block of Rock-Rice Road. Taken were a comforter, alcohol and other items.
