Crime and accidents
The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Office:
Wednesday, Feb. 27
At 6:40 a.m. a one-vehicle rollover was reported at Highway 34 and County Road 56. The driver was out of the vehicle and walking around when the State Patrol arrived.
At 8:50 a.m. alleged child maltreatment CP intake was reported on the 800 block of Central.
At 12:44 p.m. alleged child maltreatment CP intake was reported on the 200 block of Barbara Avenue.
At 3:31 p.m. alleged child maltreatment was reported in Audubon.
At 5:04 p.m. a Burglary was reported in Atlanta Township. A chainsaw was stolen in December on the 13000 block of 340th Street.
At 7 p.m. a domestic disturbance was reported on the 300 block of Woodcrest Boulevard.
Thursday, Feb. 28
At 11:17 a.m. a scam phone call was reported. The caller claimed to be from Medica, asked to verify the address, and then tried unsuccessfully to get checking account information. Medica confirmed it was a scam call.
At 1:20 a.m. alleged child maltreatment was reported on the 30000 block of Highway 10 in Burlington Township.
At 3:15 p.m. the theft of a Midwest Bank debit card was reported at the Holiday Inn. An $81 charge had been made to the card before it was canceled.
