Friday, Jan. 29

• At 10:14 a.m., a male was upset over his car being towed from the 200 block of Barbara Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

• At 12:15 p.m., an Osage female reported the theft of a cell phone from a local business.

• At 3:14 p.m., a 36-year-old Detroit Lakes male reported that an ice auger and a gas can were missing from a fish house near the 12000 block of Shorewood Beach Road.

Saturday, Jan. 30

• At 12:14 a.m., a male caller reported that a 38-year-old male hit a 37-year-old female in the nose at the Northside Bar. Police gave the male suspect a ride home, where the male said he couldn't remember being in an altercation.

• At 9:51 a.m., a female residing in Callaway Township reported that she was missing a shotgun, cash and jewelry from her home on the 27000 block of 292nd Street.

• At 11:22 p.m., a stolen car rolled over into a ditch on County Road 35 between Elbow Lake and Round Lake.

Sunday, Jan. 31

• At 2:20 a.m., a 39-year-male called Detroit Lakes police to turn himself in on a Beltrami County warrant. The male could not be located when police came to a home on the 200 block of Shorewood Drive.

• At 1:45 p.m., a female reported an assault at a home on the 35000 block of County Road 21 in White Earth Township.

• At 5:20 p.m., a 28-year-old female reported that the ignition of her vehicle was broken out at a residence on the 21000 block of West Toad Lake Road.

Monday, Feb. 1

• At 11:16 a.m., a male reported that his brother was assaulting his mother at a residence on the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue. The 22-year-old suspect was arrested on a warrant out of Clay County.

• At 12:11 p.m., a 70-year-old Pelican Rapids male reported that three shovels and a chisel were missing from a fish house on Lake Ida near Sherbrooke Beach Road.

• At 6:07 p.m., a caller reported that two children were sliding down a snowbank into the street and throwing snowballs at cars on North Shore Drive.
