The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:

Friday, May 7


• At 11 a.m. the theft of a "no parking" sign was reported in Frazee.

• At 12:07 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported that somebody shot her dog on the 49000 block of 280th Street.

• At 1:50 p.m. a Mahnomen woman reported her 11-year-old daughter was assaulted at the Circle of Life School in White Earth.

Saturday, May 8

• At 12:29 p.m. the Mahnomen Health Center reported treating a man for a deep laceration to the knee that occurred after he had been intentionally hit by a car. White Earth police are handling the case.

• At 8:50 p.m. St. Mary's Innovis reported treating a 17-year-old boy who had been accidentally shot in the knee with a .22 caliber gun in the Cotton Lake area.

• At 10:55 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported trucks "mudding in the swamp" in the area of the 25000 block of Fish Lake Road.

Sunday, May 9

• At 12:30 a.m. a Frazee woman reported vehicles drag racing on the 19000 block of 470th Avenue in Toad Lake Township.

• At 3:12 a.m. an assault was reported on a party bus leaving the Sand Bar. A 23-year-old woman reported that her 28-year-old boyfriend threw her to the floor and grabbed her neck. She later decided not to pursue charges.

Monday, May 10

• At 1:48 p.m. a Callaway man reported the theft of a push lawnmower, Honda water pump, Akida drill and 100 pounds of hamburger.

• At 2:03 p.m. an Ogema woman reported a hay shed on fire at the Matt Jirava residence in Spring Creek Township. Ogema firefighters were on the scene about 35 minutes.

• At 10:31 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported car vandalism on the 21000 block of County Road 6.

Tuesday, May 11

• At 9:10 a.m. a Lake Park woman reported the theft of cash from her residence in Lake Eunice Township. There is a suspect in the case.

• At 2:04 p.m. a White Earth woman reported the theft of a Nintendo Wii videogame system and all attachments.
