The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:
Friday, July 2
At 2:14 p.m. the Wolf Lake Fire Department and Frazee First Responders responded to a grass fire behind a barn on the 41000 block of Highway 87.
At 5:54 p.m. a caller reported a sailboat tipped over on Detroit Lake. No emergency personnel needed.
At 6:32 p.m. a White Earth woman reported vandalism to a cabin.
At 7:25 p.m. the Detroit Lakes Police Department assisted the State Patrol in apprehending a man who fled on foot.
Saturday, July 3
At 1:10 a.m. a Lake Park man reported being "harassed" by officers. He stated they were at his residence to arrest him for violation of bond release.
At 1:39 a.m. a woman reported a red car tearing around the Trinity Church parking lot in Detroit Lakes. The car then parked and an occupant then yelled something at her before starting to urinate on a green car. Police say no one admitted to urinating or driving the car.
At 4:05 p.m. a grass fire was reported at the 12000 block of East Arrow Lake Road in Audubon. The Department of Natural Resources and the Audubon Fire Department were on site for about five minutes.
At 9:06 p.m. the Becker County Sheriff's Office received a report of first degree burglary at a residence on Highway 34 behind Charlie's Tubing.
At 9:26 p.m. a woman reported being hit by a beer can. The incident required several stitches.
At 10:54 p.m. the Detroit Lakes Police Department received a call about 200 people gathered at the Pavilion "getting out of hand" when they said the band that was supposed to perform canceled.
Sunday, July 4
At 12:39 a.m. a man reported hearing a single gunshot in the Old Projects of White Earth.
At 2:20 a.m. the Park Rapids Fire Department responded to a house fire on the 35000 block of County Road 46 in Savannah Township.
At 2:58 a.m. the Carsonville Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire in a residence on the 49000 block of 280th Street in Ponsford.
At 7:31 a.m. the Frazee Golf Course reported an attempted break-in.
At 10:22 a.m. an Audubon woman reported the theft of a GPS from her vehicle.
At 12:05 p.m. a caller reported damage to the gate of Classic Auto in Detroit Lakes.
At 3:30 p.m. the Detroit Lakes Police confiscated illegal fireworks from a 19-year-old man at the 900 block of Minnesota Avenue. The fireworks were destroyed.
At 9:40 p.m. a woman reported a silver vehicle driving north on Washington Avenue stopped and the occupants threw punches at people that were walking. Police found four men in the vehicle who said they were assaulted near Subway and then again near the Detroit Lakes High School. Police were unable to located suspects.
Monday, July 5
At 2:19 a.m. police responded to a call at Dominos after an 18-year-old man and a 23-year-old man reported being assaulted by several people. The men were unable to give a description of the suspects and declined medical attention. Police said they both appeared intoxicated.
At 2:40 a.m. the same men were involved in a fight at the M&H parking lot with an individual who took off when police arrived.
At 4:34 a.m. police received a call about a man who was partying when another man came out of his house and hit him and a friend for no reason. The man claimed he chipped his tooth and wanted someone to pay for it. One of the men involved said they were hit because they were stealing beer. Another said he was hitting on someone's girlfriend and that's how it all started. Police say all appeared intoxicated.
At 11:22 a.m. Detroit Lakes Police received a call from a man who said he believes he was drugged while on the beach the previous night.
At 2:42 p.m. a small grass fire was reported at a residence located on 8th Street in Detroit Lakes. Police say it was caused by fireworks.
Tuesday, July 6
At 1:53 a.m. a house fire was reported at a residence on West Avenue in Detroit Lakes. Police say it was an electric fire in the attic. No injuries were reported.
At 6:48 a.m. the Cormorant Lakes One Stop Shop reported a burglary.
At 11:24 a.m. a man reported the theft of items from a vehicle that was parked in the mall parking lot. Items stolen were a 200 piece black socket tool set and two iPods.
At 1:07 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of an aluminum fishing boat from her yard. She believes someone moved it to the water on purpose.
At 2:35 p.m. a woman reported a break-in at her trailer house located on a lot on Strawberry Lake. She said the suspect took beer.
At 4:19 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of a car stereo overnight.
At 6:14 p.m. a one vehicle rollover was reported on County Road 29, south of Highway 34. The driver was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes with non-life threatening injuries.
At 7:21 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of a guitar from her vehicle.
Wednesday, July 7
At 8:25 a.m. the Becker County Sheriff's Office received a call about a break-in at the Circle of Life School over the weekend.
At 11:26 a.m. a Frazee woman reported her 9-year-old daughter was bit by a neighbor's dog and required medical attention for broken skin. The dog was later put down.
At 2:04 p.m. a Detroit Lakes landlord called police regarding a tenant who drinks and smokes a lot. He said he was afraid she will burn the place down.
At 2:34 p.m. a White Earth woman reported hearing gunshots at the Old Projects in White Earth.
n At 8:47 p.m. an Audubon woman reported a neighbor's dog bit her grandson. They declined medical attention.
Thursday, July 8
At 6:57 a.m. the Becker County Sheriff's Office received a call about a rock that flew out of a vehicle onto a White Earth squad car and damaged its windshield.
