The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:

Saturday, July 24

• At 5:44 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man called the Becker County Sheriff's Office about his driveway being used as a restroom.

• At 7:24 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported a break-in but was unsure if anything was missing.

• At 7:41 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported her neighbor's dogs are dangerous and are injuring her dogs.

• At 4:49 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported someone intentionally swerved and "killed her puppy."

Sunday, July 25

• At 12:34 a.m. the Detroit Lakes Drake Residential Treatment Center reported a small fire in the kitchen stove.

• At 2:20 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported a boat speeding by, almost hitting him, on Lake Melissa.

• At 6:08 p.m. a Ponsford man reported being hit with a cover from a cooler at the Ottertail River.

• At 9:14 p.m. a Frazee resident reported the theft of garbage cans from behind the Frazee Fire Hall.

Monday, July 26

• At 10:08 a.m. a White Earth man reported beating a woman and taking their 6-month-old baby. When police arrived, they both denied the assault.

• At 1:03 p.m. a White Earth woman reported her 4-year-old grandson was bitten by a dog.

• At 2:21 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported his car tires were slashed on three occasions while parked at the Holmes Theatre.

• At 2:37 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported the theft of the following items: frozen juice, apple jelly, Folgers Coffee, Graham crackers, three bananas, 1/2 a loaf of bread, about five or six donuts, and $30 from her wallet. She said she was only gone for one hour at lunch time.

• At 2:44 p.m. the White Earth Clinic reported the theft of prescription eyeglasses.

• At 7:54 p.m. Detroit Lakes Police cited a 23-year-old woman for shoplifting at Walmart.

Tuesday, July 27

• At 7:56 a.m. a small tree fire was reported in Audubon on Highway 10 and County Road 103. It appears to have been caused by a storm.

Wednesday, July 28

• At 12:33 p.m. a boy was injured after falling outside on the playground at an Ogema Christian retreat camp.

• At 4:13 p.m. an anonymous Detroit Lakes caller reported two baby raccoons inside a home with two children.

• At 9:06 p.m. a Ponsford man reported a burglary and damage to a residence.

Thursday, July 29

• At 9:53 a.m. an Audubon man reported an attempted break-in at his residence and garage with damage to the entryway.
