Crisis center to host victims forum Tuesday in DL
Being the victim of a crime can be a devastating life experience. It can mean months and years of recovery emotionally, psychologically, physically and financially.
On Tuesday, three local families will share their stories of how they were impacted by a crime and how they have rebuilt or continue to rebuild their lives.
Come and hear their stories at the Detroit Lakes campus of Minnesota State Community and Technical College (MSCTC - 900 Hwy 34 E).
The evening, organized by Lakes Crisis and Resource Center in Detroit Lakes, will begin at 7 p.m. in the conference room (C-101) with the panel sharing their stories, and finish with a candlelight ceremony in support of victims and survivors.
The public is invited. Please come and show your support for victims. For more information, contact Holly Dutton at 847-8572.
