Cub Foods joins peanut butter recall
Grocer Cub Foods has joined the list of companies voluntarily recalling peanut butter products amid the nationwide salmonella outbreak.
Cub Foods said Tuesday that it is recalling peanut butter cookies made in its bakery departments because of potential salmonella contamination.
The move follows a nationwide recall issued by Peanut Corp. of America of Parnells Pride brand peanut butter, which is used in some Cub store bakeries.
