Damien Home tour went well, thanks to all involved
The Damien Society would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the community for such wonderful support of our recent Damien Home tour. That support helped to make this charitable event so very successful.
We are grateful to the homeowners for such generosity in offering their beautiful homes for the tour.
Our thanks to homeowners, Carolyn and Gary Heitkamp, Bev and Jim Jacobson, Julie and George Johnson, Marti and Randy Peterson, Jocelyn and Wayne Tang, and Sonja and Sandra Taves.
A big thank you goes to Mary Brenk and the staff at Detroit Lakes Newpapers for their outstanding magazine and publicity.
We also thank the rest of these businesses, as well, for their support of the tour in a variety of ways: Central Market, Leighton Broadcasting, St. Mary’s Foundation, Detroit Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, Detroit Paint and Glass, La De Da Decor and Gifts, and The Wild Goose in Perham.
The tour experience was enhanced this year with music. We want to thank Carol Shipley and the “Front Row,” Sandy Sprafka and the “Woodwind Quintet,” and Holly Dutton, pianist, for their gift of music.
The Damiens are so pleased to be able to support numerous local charities throughout the year, because of this wonderful project. Again, thanks to all. — Gail Grabow, Detroit Lakes
