Dane Cook to play the Ralph in Grand Forks
Comedian and actor Dane Cook is coming to Grand Forks Nov. 18 for a show at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The show will be the first ever event in the round at the Ralph, with seats on the floor and in the lower bowl only.
In 2007 Cook broke the record set by Richard Pryor for longest stand-up set at three hours, 50 minutes. Dave Chapelle broke that record 10 days later, but on Jan. 1, 2008, Cook took it back with a seven-hour set.
Pre-sales exclusively for Cook's fans will begin Wednesday. Tickets for the show will be priced at $36.75 and $71.75. Additionally, two special VIP ticket packages are available: A Platinum Front Row Hot Seat Package, which includes a front row ticket, a concert tour shirt, back stage passes, VIP Collectable Laminate, and a photo with Dane; and a Gold Hot Seat Package which includes all of the above, but with guaranteed tickets in rows 3 through 5.
Cook's most recent film, "My Best Friend's Girl," with Kate Hudson and Alec Baldwin, opened in September. His earlier films included "Mr. Brooks" with Kevin Costner and Demi Moore.
