De Carlo, age 15 and formerly of Park Rapids, is the son of Nicholas and Jody De Carlo and grandson of Eddie and Lorraine Jokela.

He will take part in the United State Ski Association’s Junior Olympics for U-16 age athletes in Alaska.

De Carlo qualified for the U-16 Championships last year at age 14, but prior to the finals, suffered an injury at an Idaho Downhill competition. In 2010, he won the Red Lodge Mountain’s coveted Hancock Cup series of races.

To help defray expenses of this trip to Alaska, the family is holding a fundraiser by offering $40 and $20 tickets for two tattoo drawings worth $500 and $250, provided by Colson’s father Nick “Spider” of TNT Tattoo and Body Piercing of Red Lodge.

Those interested in helping Colson can send a check or money order to Colson De Carlo, P.O. Box 310, Red Lodge, Mont., 59068.

Please specify how many tickets you wish to purchase and which drawing you are entering for.

Please include current contact information with a phone number. Tickets will be mailed to all participants and the drawing will be held April 19, at the Boys and Girls Club in Red Lodge.

The winners will be notified and announced on the TNT Tattoo Facebook page.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and do not need to be present to win.
