Detroit Lakes boys' hockey goes 1-1 in inagural home tournament

There was another type Thanksgiving holiday Saturday inside Kent Freeman Arena, as the Detroit Lakes boys' hockey team feasted on the Becker/Big Lake Eagles 13-2.


But the Lakers were not able to go perfect in their first annual Thanksgiving Tournament after dropping their Sunday game to Fort Frances, Canada, 5-3.

Junior forward Tanner Lane had the majority of that Saturday feast on the Eagles, scoring six goals and adding three assists.
