Detroit Lakes needs to remove snow more promptly
I would be embarrassed if I were the mayor or on the city council of Detroit Lakes. It's as if the city could care less for people shopping downtown, as some of the businesses do not even clean the snow off the sidewalks in front of their businesses. People parking need to find a "hole" in the snowbanks to get to a business.
Maybe people should drive to Vergas, where the snow is removed promptly. There's always good food available and businesses that appreciate their customers. The mayor himself is often seen operating snow removal equipment shortly after a snowfall. -- Glen Anderson, Perham
