Developing storms could bring chance of more snow later in week
A trio of storm systems brewing along the West Coast will travel east, bringing a chance of more snow in the area later this week.
"The exact tracks aren't really known at this point," Brad Hopkins, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, N.D., said Monday.
The forecast calls for a slight chance of snow Thursday night, with another chance Friday night and Saturday.
The period right before Christmas brings another chance for snow.
"Right now, it's still pretty early to say anything definitive," Hopkins said.
So far, it looks like the western storms will track to the south of Fargo-Moorhead, WDAY meteorologist Daryl Ritchison said. That still could complicate those planning to travel to the Twin Cities or Sioux Falls, S.D.
Forecasters will keep a close eye on the storm paths as they continue to develop.
