Dilworth woman is sentenced on first degree burglary charge
A Dilworth woman was sentenced last week in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of first degree burglary.
Jean Marie Jacobson, 29, of 710 Center Ave. E., Dilworth, was sentenced to two years in prison, stayed on conditions including completion of 180 days in jail (with credit for 120 days already served) and up to 20 years of supervised probation, as well as an undetermined amount of community service in lieu of a $1,000 fine and payment of $2,530 in restitution.
Jacobson was accused of stealing nearly two dozen firearms from a residence on 180th Avenue in Becker County on May 3, 2013. The guns were later recovered from a pull-behind trailer that had been parked at her residence in Frazee (where she lived at the time).
