DL baseball picks up split in Perham

The Mid-State Conference is still up for grabs as leaders Detroit Lakes and Perham split games Thursday at Krueger Field.

Defense and pitching was solid on both sides, as the Lakers took game one 3-2 on five hits, while the Yellowjackets claimed the night cap 3-2 on seven hits.

A.J. Matter pitched 4.1 innings in game one, while allowing two hits for the win, and Ryan Cihak gained the save with 1.2 innings of work.
