DL Girls Hockey - DL struggles with offensive attack in 2 latest losses

The Detroit Lakes girls' hockey team could only scratch out a goal in each of their two games against Crookston Tuesday and Fergus Falls Saturday.


The Pirates (9-8) controlled the puck by outshooting DL 48-22, while scoring three in the first and two in the second to secure a 6-1 victory.

The Lakers (3-16) busted their goose egg in the third period on an Emily Payne power play effort on assists by Sydney Haman and Emily Schiltz.
