DL girls' soccer starts out with a blowout win
The wheels started churning on the 2008 season for the Detroit Lakes girls' soccer team, as they shot out of the gates with a 6-0 opening win over visiting Walker/Hackensack-Akeley Friday.
Passing was the biggest weapon for the Lakers' attack, as DL scored three goals in each of the first and second halves, while the Wolves had only three shots on goal for the game.
