DL Library kicks off 101 years of programming
The Detroit Lakes Library Club is proud to announce that it has been programming events at the Library for over 100 years. Minnesota Book Artist Jody Williams will kick-off this fall's events line-up on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. in Detroit Lakes Library.
Williams will discuss bookmaking and share her inspiration to create miniature books. A special exhibit of Williams' work will be on display at the Detroit Lakes Library until August 31.
This program is supported, in part, by the Minnesota Book Awards, a program of the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library in consortium with the Mayor's Office of the City of St. Paul, with additional support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Minnesota Department of Education/State Library Agency and the Minnesota Library Foundation.
