DL man, Frazee woman face meth charges
Two people have been charged in Becker County District Court with meth possession.
Larry Leroy Hanson, 48, of 18283 Old Pit Road, Detroit Lakes and Emily Gene Evenson, 25, of 31145 150th St., Frazee are each charged with felony second-degree controlled substance crime, possession.
On Oct. 2, the two of them were in a room at the Country Inn & Suites in Detroit Lakes that was searched by law enforcement officers, according to court records.
The officers initially found 4.3 grams of methamphetamines under a mattress in the room.
Two days later, motel staff found another 6.7 grams of meth in a black zippered case under a bed. The room had not been rented to anyone since the search on Oct. 2, and Hanson admitted it was his, according to court records.
Hanson appeared March 6 before District Judge Lisa Borgen, who set $30,000 cash bail or bond, with conditions that include no drugs or alcohol and staying out of bars. His next appearance is March 17.
