DL man gets four years for DWI
Arlan Ray Bergstrom, 41, of 23096 Duffney Road, Rochert has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony first-degree DWI, blood alcohol level of .08 or more.
He was also found guilty of felony first-degree DWI as part of the same incident, but no sentence was imposed on that charge.
According to court records: On May 21 at 1:20 a.m. he was clocked driving 68 mph in a 35 mph zone on Highway 10 near The Lodge in Detroit Lakes. He failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol level tested at .09 percent. He has two prior DWIs from 2002.
On Thursday, District Judge Joe Evans sentenced him 48 months in prison, with credit for time served. He was fined $50 plus court fees, to be taken from prison earnings.
