It was a clash between two of the Section 8-2A contenders, as Perham came out on top of the host Detroit Lakes Lakers 35-27 Friday.

The Yellowjackets took care of business early by building a 17-5 lead, before the Lakers started digging out of the deficit by winning the next three of four matches to trim it to 23-15.


But Perham rung up a big pin at 145-pounds, where Colin was able to record the fall on No. 7 ranked sophomore Parker Jackson for the 23-9 advantage.
