DL native gets grant from ND arts council
Fargo-Detroit Lakes native Carol Anne Hough, recently applied for and was awarded a Professional Development Grant by the North Dakota Council on the Arts.
The grant will provide funds to help Hough attend the 2008 Fringe Festival in Minneapolis, where she will attend plays, work one-to-one with a mentor, and organize a staged reading of her latest play, "The Uptight Swede."
"This is exactly what I need right now," says Hough. "This grant will help me take my career to the next level."
