Email News Alerts

Pequot Lakes’ pitching was to the Detroit Lakes baseball team’s liking, as the Lakers pulled off a Mid-State sweep Tuesday by the scores of 5-2 and 12-5.

DL junior pitcher Connor Johnson continued his assault on opposing batters after striking out eight Patriots in game one, while the Lakers picked up 14 hits in the nightcap for the 12-5 win.

Defensively, DL played well, committing just one error in each game.
