DL woman gets jail time, probation on drug charges
A Detroit Lakes woman was sentenced for being high on and possessing hydrocodone that did not belong to her.
April Ann Miller, 35, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, five years of probation and a $1,000 fine.
According to the report, officers were called to the Holiday gas station in Detroit Lakes on December 24, 2013 for a suspected theft.
When authorities arrived, they found Miller very fidgety and what is described as “tweeking”, or being unable to control her muscle movements.
Miller reportedly took some items out of her pocket that she had stolen, as well as the hydrocodone.
