Dog seized after biting Ulen boy
ULEN, Minn. - Authorities have obtained a judge's order to seize a pet dog that bit a 6-year-old boy in western Minnesota.
Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist says deputies took the dog into custody Friday because the owner was uncooperative and would not provide vaccination records or submit the dog for observation.
The black Lab bit the rural Ulen boy on the neck and face on August 30th.
The dog will be held in quarantine for 10 days to look for signs of rabies. Court records say the boy required a stitch but was not seriously hurt.
