Dog suspected in attacks is impounded
A dog suspected of attacking people on the Heartland Trail has been impounded.
Charges could be pending against the owner, said Sheriff Cory Aukes.
The White German shepherd weighs about 50 pounds. Its companion remains with its owner.
The second dog was not taken into custody because the victims all reported it was the white dog that bit at least two people.
Two other complainants called the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department this week to report attacks on the trail. -- Park Rapids Enterprise
