Doing business in China -- DL businesswoman on MSUM panel Tuesday
A Detroit Lakes businesswoman is on the panel of a MSUM School of Business seminar Tuesday on doing business in the tricky China market.
Melissa Lage, chief marketing manager, SJE-Rhombus is a panelist for the event, called Hosting Global Innovation: Doing Business in China.
It will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Comstock Memorial Union ballroom
The panel of regional experts will discuss from their personal experiences the opportunities and risks of doing business in China.
In addition to Lage, the regional panelists include:
- Dean Gorder, executive director, North Dakota Trade Office.
- Randy Peterson, vice president Specialty Commodities in Fargo.
- Helen Yang, international development officer, North Dakota-Minnesota EB-5 Regional Center.
This year a special addition to the event will take place in the Center for Business from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. There will be a student panel, faculty presentations and information on MSUM’s Doing Business in China certificate program.
