Former Detroit Lakes, Fargo and Colorado Springs, Colo., resident Donald R. Osterberg, 76, of Plymouth, Minn., passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014.
Don grew up in West Fargo, and over the course of his life worked for Armour Foods, various trucking companies, and owned and operated the Fireside Supper Club in Detroit Lakes.
Don loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by children, Laurie Sapper, Julie (Al) Blau, Sheila (Kelly) Frost, Craig (Stacey) Osten, Cara (Mark) Ruff and their mother, Virginia Barnum; grandchildren Erik (Jennifer), Nick and Christopher Sapper, Allison, Emily and Angela Blau, Lexi and Luke Frost, Rachel and Raina Ruff and Jacob Crosser; great grandchildren Jane and Soloman Sapper; stepchildren Lisa (Todd) McLain, Troy Magnuson and their mother Linda Osterberg; step-grandchildren Nicholas and Noah McLain; sisters, Mary Jane Armstrong and Sandra Anderson; brother David (Judy) Osterberg; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N., Plymouth, MN, 55446, with visitation for one hour before services.

Don was loved and will be missed by many.
