Ogema native Donna M. Schouviller, 78, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in Richland, Wash.
Donna Marie Ford was born to Charles and Magdalena (Vorderbruggen) Ford on Sept. 24, 1931 in Ogema. She graduated from high school in Waubun in 1949, and married Leo Nicholas Schouviller on June 12, 1950. In 1951, they moved together to Pasco, Wash., where they started their family.
Donna worked in the restaurant business and moved on to manage a dental office. After the death of her husband in 1993, Donna spent her time enjoying her grandchildren, cooking, quilting, playing cards and traveling.
Surviving Donna are her five children, sons Charles (Janeen) Schouviller and Paul (Pam) Schouviller, daughter Debbie Herrin, son Terry (Patty) Schouviller and daughter Pamela Wood. She is also survived by her sister, Maxine Juell; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents; her sister Laura; her husband of 43 years, Leo; and her grandson, Justin Schouviller.
The family would like to thank the staff at Richland Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care, support and kindness given to Donna throughout her stay there.
The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, in Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home, Pasco, Wash.
