Eken, Marquart town hall
Sen. Kent Eken and Rep. Paul Marquart will hold a town meeting March 25 in the Detroit Lakes High School Library at 9 a.m. to hear from residents on important state issues.
Eken and Marquart will host eight meetings in the area to hear residents’ ideas and concerns regarding the state’s budget, education funding, property tax relief, long-term care and other rural issues.
“It’s very important to hear residents’ ideas and concerns regarding the budget and other important issues the state is facing this legislative session,” Eken said.
“I really encourage folks to come out to the meeting and be part of the discussion as we consider topics that will impact our quality of life in rural Minnesota,” Marquart said.
