On June 26, 1954, she was united in marriage with Russell Wierschke in Minneapolis. Throughout her life, she and Russell served together in the ministry throughout Minnesota and North and South Dakota.

They served parishes in Karlstad, Minn.; Maddock, N.D.; McIntosh, Big Fork, Middle River, Newfolden, Badger, De-troit Lakes and Puposky, Minn.; as well as Rosholt, Sioux Falls, Dimock, and Tripp, S.D.

Eleanore's husband preceded her in death on June 18, 1991. She retired from the ministry two years ago. She loved the people she served and the people were very touched and blessed by the minis-try she gave them.
