Annie Humphrey concert

American Indian singer-songwriter Annie Humphrey performs at Detroit Lakes' Historic Holmes Theatre starting at 7:30 p.m.; the concert will be preceded by a Native Harvest Slow Food Dinner, starting at 6 p.m. in the Holmes Ballroom. Viking Bookmobile

Viking Library System's bookmobile stops at Dent School from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Dent Bank from 11 to 11:30, Richville Post Office from 11:45 to noon, and Vergas Municipal Building from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7.

Community band rehearsal

The Lakes Area Community Concert Band rehearses from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Detroit Lakes Senior High band room. Use the southwest doors. Doors open by 6:30 p.m. Gene Gaffney will direct. Ice Tee Golf

There's nothing better than a round of Ice Tee Golf on a Friday afternoon in February. Get your friends and co-workers together for the Second Annual DLCCC Ice Tee Golf Tournament at 1 p.m. Play nine frozen holes on Big Detroit Lake. Cost is $100 per team. Daddy's Little Sweetheart

Bring the little girl in your life to a night she'll treasure forever! Daddy's Little Sweetheart Dance has become a favorite event for girls ages 2-12 and their dads, grandfathers, uncles or special friends. The event, which includes food (catered by Country Kitchen), music, crafts, photos and more, is set to get underway at 6 p.m. in the Historic Holmes Theatre with the grand march, which is open to the public. There will be a Scrapathon scrapbooking event held in conjunction with Daddy's Little Sweetheart Dance at Pens & Needles Lakeside, 11463 Highway 59 South, at 7 p.m. geared toward moms and grandmothers, the event is open to anyone who enjoys scrapbooking. Freeze Your Buns Run

The 15th annual Freeze Your Buns 5K Run/Walk starts at 9 a.m. in front of the Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center. The first 100 people registered receive a limited edition Freeze Your Buns beanie. The cost is $10 before Feb. 7 and $12 after.

Numb Your Buns
