• United Way Community Celebration: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., The Pavilion, 1361 Washington Ave., Detroit Lakes. A celebration of the organizations who benefit from United Way, with 30-35 booths and displays, also entertainment and a free community picnic. • Leather & Leavez Motorcycle Rally: 10 a.m., Historic Holmes Theatre, 806 Summit Ave., Detroit Lakes. Pancake breakfast at 10 a.m. to be followed by the ride at noon. Bikers will visit Zorbaz restaurants in Perham, Ottertail and Pelican Rapids before heading back to Detroit Lakes for the wrap-up party. There will be free chips and salsa for all riders, 50/50 raffles, prizes and more along the way. • Guided Fall Color Hike: 1 p.m., Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, Rochert. • Holy Rosary Fall Festival: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1043 Lake Ave., Detroit Lakes. The mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., followed by the festival at 11:30. Family fun, food and fellowship including kids’ games, farmer’s market, raffles, silent auction, white elephant sale, cake walk, live auction, “Big Money” and food galore. Info: 218-847-1393.

• Go Natural with Nutrition: 2 to 4 p.m., Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, Rochert. Meet at the Meet at the Chippewa Picnic Area, located on County Highway 26 three miles east of the visitor center. Join guest presenter Carol Robinson on this first day of autumn for a fun lesson on eating healthy. Whether it be from the wild, your garden or the farmer’s market, we can all make good choices and have fun doing it. Learn how you can have fresh greens all winter long, how you can dehydrate the fruits of the season and which wild foods are easy to gather and prepare. There is no cost to participate. • Streets Alive: 2:30 to 5 p.m., Fargo. Three miles of streets through downtown Fargo and Moorhead are shut down to motorized traffic to encourage walking, running, biking, rollerblading, skating, dancing and other human movement.
