Ogema native Faye M. Herrera, 45, of Chicago, Ill., died at her home in on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
Faye Marie Haverkamp was born to Lewis and Ethel (Hoban) Haverkamp on May 18, 1964 in Ogema, Minn. She attended school in the districts of Ogema-Waubun, Ulen-Hitterdahl and Glyndon-Felton in Minnesota.
Faye moved to the Chicago area and married Angel Herrera. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters, family and friends.
Faye's love in life was her daughters, and she was so proud of them. Faye will be remembered most for her kindness and compassion for others. Her smile and free spirit will live on forever.
Surviving Faye are her beautiful daughters, Victoria and Pricilla Herrera of Berwyn, Ill.; three sisters, Marjorie Demarias, Mary Haverkamp and Jody Tschetter; four brothers, Daniel (Nancy), David, Dean (Janice) and Darrell Haverkamp; as well as several nephews and nieces.
Preceding Faye in death were her parents; two sisters, Cynthia Lou Haverkamp and Judith Louis (Haverkamp Wagner; two brothers, Donald James and Baby Haverkamp; as well as several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 10 at Parkwyn Funeral Home in Berwyn, Ill.
