Each member was asked to donate 2 dozen decorated cookies. Five members, and their advisor Cheryl Hogie, along with parent volunteer Rondi Ulmer, spent Saturday morning, Nov. 23, at the Holiday Showcase in the LPA High School building in Lake Park, selling cookies for 25 cents. Customers could purchase as many or as few cookies as they wanted.

Profits from the event reached over $200. Cookies that remained at the end of the event were packaged and frozen to be shared with the giving baskets for the Lake Park and Audubon communities.

FCCLA is a student lead organization that focuses on the family and is open to all high school students in grades 7-12 that have taken a Family Consumer Science Class.
