Film festival starts Friday

The Red Bridge Film Festival will screen seven feature films plus documentary programs with visiting filmmaker Deb Wallwork starting this Friday, April 16 and continuing through Tuesday, April 20 at the Park Theatre in Park Rapids.

This year's featured films include "The Hurt Locker," "Crazy Heart," "Fantastic Mr. Fox." "Clash of the Titans," "Mino-Bimadiziwin: The Good Life," "An Education," "A Serious Man" and "Sita Sings the Blues."

Admission to all programs is with a $28 festival pass, or to individual films at the theater's regular price. Schedule times will be available at www.redbridgefilm.org.

This activity is made possible, in part, by a grant provided by the Region 2 Arts Council through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.

Many local businesses and organizations have also provided support. Red Bridge Film Festival is an activity of the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council.
