First News expands to all of North Dakota
WDAY/WDAZ News will be launching the first statewide morning news show in North Dakota.
First News, which has aired on WDAY and WDAZ since 1996, is expanding statewide starting on April 28, 2014.
It will air from 5:00 am – 7:00 am CT weekday mornings on WDAY channel 6.1 in Fargo, WDAZ channel 8.1 in Grand Forks, KBMY channel 17.1 in Bismarck, KMCY channel 14.1 in Minot, 11.2 in Williston and 2.2 in Dickinson.
The program will also be available on Radio station WDAY-AM 970 as well as online at WDAY.com and
through our WATCH WDAY App. The show will be anchored in Fargo by Travis Skonseng and Rebecca Lebak.
First News will focus on local stories that affect viewers in North Dakota and western Minnesota along with a mix of regional, national and international news. First News also delivers a local weather forecast.
With the expansion of First News and the recent addition of WDAY/WDAZ News on Sundays at 5:30,
WDAY/WDAZ news continues to be the ‘News Leader’.
