Foggy crash on Highway 10 critically injures one
Two people from Sauk Centre, Minn. were injured in a crash Thursday night that temporarily shut down traffic on U.S. Highway 10 west of Wadena.
A 2008 Ford vehicle was stopped on U.S. Highway 10 in dense fog around 5:20 p.m., waiting to make a turn onto Otter Tail County Road 75, the Minnesota State Patrol said. That vehicle was rear-ended by a 2010 Chevy Malibu.
The driver of the Malibu, Ann W. Brunswig, 53, of Sauk Centre, was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and listed in critical condition. Her passenger, Steven L. Brunswig, 56, also of Sauk Centre, was treated and released at the hospital.
The driver of the Ford was Bronson A. Vinge, 38, of Park Rapids. Vinge's condition was not documented by the State Patrol.
